Partnerships that Matter

College Tribe supports the development of Black boys with educational experiences and mentorship. Our partnerships help to create pathways towards success for youth who need additional support and guidance. We especially welcome partnerships in the form of volunteering and mentorship.

Partnership Options

Collaboration between College Tribe and organizations or individuals. This collaboration will support College Tribe’s mission and core work and build a community of supporters around the organization.

The STEM Advisory Committee meets twice yearly to advise College Tribe on its STEM curriculum development and other technical and science topics.

The Arts Advisory Committee meets twice yearly to advise College Tribe on its Arts curriculum development and other cultural development goals.

The Mentoring Advisory Committee meets quarterly to advise College Tribe on the advancement and development of its mentor program.

College Tribe welcomes Black men who have received a college degree or have achieved the rank of staff sergeant or higher in the military to apply to become a mentor.

College Tribe seeks allies (non men of color) who have received a college degree or have achieved the rank of staff sergeant or higher in the military to support programming.

College Tribe seeks volunteers to assist with math and science tutoring (all ethnicities and racial backgrounds are welcome to support this initiative). Volunteers are also needed to support mental health and trauma informed development.

College Tribe welcomes professional guest speakers to share career or professional information with young men and their families. Career volunteers may host a work site visit, field trip or youth development opportunity unrelated to their career. STEM and Arts-based career paths are preferred but not mandatory.
